We spent the early part of our last day in Singapore buying souvenirs at Chinatown. We went really early and had planned on eating breakfast there. But all the food places in Chinatown were closed. Good thing we chanced upon this restaurant, Tak Po. It was probably the only open restaurant in the whole of Chinatown.
The place looked very modest, but they had a great assortment of dimsum. And when we tried the food, we were pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious!
Century Egg Congee with Pork |
Egg Tarts |
Steamed Sponge Cake |
Warm Smooth Coffee |
This is my ideal breakfast: warm coffee with pastries/bread.
After our trip, I found out that Tak Po is actually a 4/5 star-rated restaurant in TripAdvisor.
