In celebration of our wedding
anniversary, Mike and I went to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. We booked a
hotel a stone’s throw away from the Kota Kinabalu airport and right beside
Perdana Park.

The park, donated by Timatch Sdn Bhd, is the
first recreational park in KK. The whole park has a “water” theme—after
all, the donor, Timatch Sdn Bhd, is a company specializing in water supply
infrastructure and water utility management services. Perdana Park has got
playgrounds, a jog paths, several food establishments, a stand that offers free
purified drinking water, a loooooot of fountains and a big pond where the
musical fountain is held every half hour from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
