My IP Work

I put food on the table by working as an associate at Bengzon Negre Untalan Intellectual Property Attorneys, a boutique firm which specializes in intellectual property (IP) law based in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines.

My work is mainly focused on -

• Trademarks: If you have a brand or a logo, and you want exclusive rights to it, our firm can assist you in registering it as a trademark with the Intellectual Property Office. If someone has copied your trademark or has used it without your consent, our firm can help you in protecting and enforcing your rights.

• Copyrights: While your literary and artistic work need not be registered or deposited to be protected, should you wish to deposit your work with the National Library or the Intellectual Property Office, our firm can assist you. If someone has copied, performed, displayed, rented out, sold, or adapted your literary or artistic work without your authorization, our firm can help you in enforcing your rights as a copyright holder.

• Licensing/franchising: Your intellectual properties can also be licensed out! But there are requirements under the law that have to be complied with. If you have a licensing or franchising agreement, we can review it for compliance with Philippine laws.
