So I received a nomination to do the 5-day B&W Challenge--post a black and white photo for 5 consecutive days. Here's my first:

Less than two months to go before Christmas! This not only means celebrating His birthday, buying gifts and spending time with loved ones. To me, it also means brainstorming and styling our Christmas photo card.

Our 2012 Christmas photo card featured our first Christmas spent at the beach.

Since 2013 was our first Christmas as parents, we styled our Christmas photo card for last year appropriately.

Nate cooperated too! Hope he also cooperates this year. Egzoited!

After maaaaajor soul-searching, I decided I will take my hobby a step further. To match my decision to embark on this new adventure, I invested in Fuji's super portrait lens, the Fujinon XF 56 mm f1.2. And it is GORGEOUS.

As the song goes, "I'm broke but I'm happy.."

It's a short but sweet Halloween, All Saints Day and All Souls Day this year. Nate is not that into the whole costume thing yet, but Mike and I came out with pretty inspired last minute costumes. I did my make-up and Mike's too (but let's face it, his acting was what sold the look). Pretty cool what you can do with eyeliner, lipstick and CC cream.
